What stroller to get?

I am now at the point where I have registered both at Target and Babies R Us, however, there are 2 very important items that I have not put on either list yet. The CAR SEAT and the STROLLER!

I had no clue that there were soooo many choices. I put a posting on my Mocha Moms message board and asked what their favorite strollers were. So after over 40 responses of Moms telling me about ALL different kinds of strollers here are the top ones.

The Orbit: This is celebrity stroller. It is know as the heaviest stroller on the market but this one caught my eye.  It rotates so you can either look at the baby or have it sideways or facing forward.  Car seat adapter so it snaps right on into the car. However, you have to buy a separate toddler seat when the baby gets bigger. I will have a personal review on this one tomorrow. I am going to my friend's house and she uses this one with her baby. This stroller runs around $1,300. (this is the one that they side I did not need. They said babies grow too fast to spend that much money on a stroller)

The Graco traveling system: This is the most popular name you might know. But to me this is the one that looks the dirtiest fastest because of the plastic and fabric it is made of.  The seat also does not recline far back.  On the cheaper end $150-$210.

Dreamer Design Park Ave: Only comes in Red, Blue or Camo. Removable fabric for cleaning. Ranges from 200-350. It is a indoor/outdoor and a jogger. I like the look of this one but it does not have a cup holder. So no place to set a bottle or my martini. lol

Peg Perego: Another one of my favorites. I  like this one because it lays down and turns into a bassinet.  Also you can attach the Peg Perego car seat onto the base.  Different heights adjustments.  This one is $599.

The SNAP 'n GO was the favorite of ALL of the moms. This is a stroller base and most car seats just snap into it. It is light and easy to get from point A to B. It is about $50 dollars, you just have to buy a car seat to fit it. Not a good stroller from outside walking. Great for quick runs.

Combi Flex Travel System: This stroller is light and great for airplanes.  The combined system is $150 which is super cheap. It also does great in the safety test. I will be looking into this one also.

Bugaboo: Another expensive stroller that has been made popular by celebrities. This one is another 3 in 1. I am also planning to check this one out. My goal is to only buy one stroller and a snap and go. The cons on this stroller is that it has a 2 part fold and no cup holder. Starts at $700.

The Stokke: It is a celebrity favorite however you need someone to carry around your baby bag because there is no where to put anything. It sits up high which is a great benefit but it looks unsafe to me even though it has passed the safety test.  This is $1,300.

I will be looking at all of these strollers. The main things I am looking for is safety, last through the toddler years, price, car seat combo or attachment, weight, if it fits into my car and if it has a smooth ride, cup holders, and a place to put a diaper bag.

Don't forget to check out Maclaren strollers. They're super sturdy and lightweight which makes them perfect for traveling.
