Ok since this whole pregnancy thing I had to cut out my seafood. Not realizing that I live off of Tuna, Salmon and Crab. (for those of you that don't understand why I can not eat seafood is it because of the mercury level in the food...bad for the baby).
I am sure you are saying then eat something else. I do not have any desire to eat too much of anything. My taste buds are on super power. I can eat a sandwich and taste every piece of basil or garlic in the sauce. It is driving me crazy. I taste more herbs then I taste food. This is why finding something to eat is so hard.
My normal day consists of :
BREAKFAST:
Heart to Heart Cereal with fresh strawberries and blueberries or Oatmeal with the same fruit. Some times I also add one of Trader Joe's Chicken Sausages. (Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day)
LUNCH:
This is a hard one, depends on when I eat breakfast. Sometimes this gets skipped. But I will make a sandwich with some of Trader Joe's Hummas and Honey Pretzels. Or a quesadilla However I can't use all of my fun cheese because certain cheese are on my bad for the baby list. And how many days do you really wanna eat a sandwich. And salads are getting gross because the dressings taste so strong now, because I have bionitc take buds. ahhhhhh
DINNER:
This one is really hard because by now I am grossed out by everything in my frig or I have spent hours at Trader Joe's or Whole Foods walking in circles not wanting to cook anything that they have. The only thing that I seem to stomach to plain pasta and butter with simple salt and pepper. However again not something you want to eat all the time. Oh and I think my baby is a vegetarian because a lot of meats taste weird especially chicken.
SNACKS:
I love this one. I eat lots of trail mix, smoothies, blueberries, soy beans, pomegranates, oranges, strawberries, bananas and grapes. Oh and my pregnancy snack is restaurant chips and salsa. I can not get enough.
If you have any ideas of good recipes please let me know. And don't think to weird (bianca) lol I like to eat my food not to acquire a taste to it.
