This picture shows exactly how my class looked. Yesterday I subbed a class for a friend of mine. 5 classes to be exact. All an hour each. The first class was full of 3 year olds. The kids were sooooo cute but they didn't listen at all. Well, maybe 2 out of the 10 that actually paid attention. We sat "criss cross apple sauce" and talked about princesses then we twirled around the room. Some cried. Some bullied other kids by stealing their stickers and some ran back out of the room to their mothers. This was a true test to me having a baby. Even though I wanted to scream I handled it well.
Then the 5 to 7 year olds. Wow they were worst then the 3 year olds. They talked so much about nothing. Wanted to tell me all of their parents business. So note to self "watch what you say around your kids..they will tell on you." These kids followed directions a lot better but it was still like pulling teeth.
The classes got older as the day when on. However the dance level of the kids did not really advance much. My teens were super shy and was afraid to dance because they did not want to look silly. My last class was the best because they were not afraid to dance.
5 hours of whining and complaining, I survived but did I pass the test is the question?
